Oklahoma Department of Libraries (ODL) provides Oklahoma’s citizens comprehensive online access to the state’s publications, websites, social media and other digitally preserved content.
In July 2010, the ODL began a partnership with Archive-It to capture, to preserve, and to make accessible selective websites and social media accounts of the State Government of Oklahoma.
Archive-It, a subscription service from the Internet Archive, allows institutions to build and preserve collections of digital content. Archive-It partners can harvest, catalog, manage, and browse their archived collections. Collections are hosted at the Internet Archive data center with 24/7 access and full text search.
