Highlights

Oklahoma is currently home to over 200 public library sites. These libraries are branches of county or multi-county library systems, or are administered by local municipalities. In addition to these official public libraries, you will find a number of volunteer libraries around the state. Get a library card and discover a world of possibilities.

The archivists at the Oklahoma Department of Libraries digitized 363 newsletters from 1943 to 1978 for you to view online. The bulletins published by the Oklahoma State Department of Health contain timely articles related to public health of interest to both the professional health worker and everyday citizens.

Share your library news, stories, and updates. We want to hear stories from library patrons and staff. Send us info about upcoming or successful events, interesting programs, outstanding service, helpful resources, LSTA and community projects, staff shout-outs, and other items of interest. We'd love to share your library stories.
