Director of Sciences
University of Colorado Boulder, CO

Job Description: The University of Colorado Boulder Libraries invites applications from collaborative and innovative candidates for the position of Director of Sciences. The Sciences department consists of the Jerry Crail Johnson Earth Sciences and Map Library; L.H. Gemmill Engineering, Mathematics, and Physics Library; and three science librarians in the Norlin Library. The Director develops and implements departmental goals that align with organizational priorities; oversees, coordinates, and communicates departmental policy and practices; and maintains open communication with other Libraries departments. The University of Colorado Boulder has top-ranked programs in Engineering, Geosciences, Astrophysics, and Aerospace, with five Nobel Laureates in sciences since 1989. A significant part of the responsibilities of this position include research and creative work and service in keeping with the tenure standards of the University of Colorado Boulder.

Collection Assessment Librarian

Job Description: The University of Texas Libraries (UTL) seeks a Collection Assessment Librarian to provide leadership and expertise in the development and application of collection assessment strategies that inform and advance the UTL agenda. The Collection Assessment Librarian will work closely with the Head of Assessment on departmental projects including quantitative and qualitative analysis. This position also works collaboratively with staff involved with collection development, systems access, departmental liaisons, and acquisitions.
