Since 1960, The Oklahoman has partnered with individuals and businesses to provide teachers and students with educational resources through Newspapers in Education (NIE). Over 915 teachers throughout 586 schools across the state rely on non-fiction supplementary resources to complement lesson plans throughout the school year.
In addition to providing daily access to the digital print replica and archives of the newspaper, The Oklahoman partners with businesses and organizations to publish programs on subject matters that promote career development, health, financial management, Native American education, natural resource stewardship, Oklahoma history, culture, art, social awareness and literacy.
