We’re your library.
State Agency Employees are eligible to obtain a library card from the Oklahoma Department of Libraries.
With the ODL library card, you will have access to our collection of books, audiobooks, videos and more. The state employee library card works similar to a public library card. You are able to check out materials for a period of time. You can access the eBooks and online audiobooks, look through numerous online resources, and use interlibrary loan to access a world of information. Your state employee library card can be used at the Allen Wright Memorial Library, 200 NE 18 Street, just south of the Capitol. Service hours are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.

ODL Catalog & InterLibrary Loan (ILL)
Search our online catalog to see what materials we have available. If you find something we don’t have, we can borrow it from another library through interlibrary loan. You can set up an interlibrary account with your library card. Once it comes in, simply pick up the book or other materials at the ODL and return it to us.
Overdrive has a new app called Libby! Now you can access ODL’s collection of ebooks and audiobooks through the Libby app.
We have online audiobooks and ebooks for your tablet, computer, smartphone, or eReader. Library card holders with an active account can download Overdrive selections to any device. Also there’s an Overdrive App you can download directly to your smartphone or tablet!
Resources in the Online Library
The online resources are available with your membership either remotely or in the library.
Late or Overdue Materials
Materials may be checked out and/or returned at the Circulation Desk in the Allen Wright Memorial Library. Most library materials circulate for one month with renewals. Reference books and other materials are subject to special loan policies. Library materials may be recalled.
The Library does not charge fines for overdue materials. If any library materials are lost, stolen or not returned the patron will be billed for the actual in-print cost plus $45.00 processing. If the material is out of print, the average cost to replace the item from an out of print source plus $45.00 is assessed.
Replacement by the patron of the actual lost item can be negotiated with the circulation manager.
