Welcome to ODL!

site announcementHello!… Are you new here?

Welcome to the Oklahoma Department of Libraries’ website. Take a look around. On the home page, you will find newsactivities and events. Under the featured section, we highlighted some of our top requested items. To peruse all the webpages, hover your mouse over the top menu to see the options under For OklahomansFor Libraries, and For State Employees. We hope that you enjoy exploring the website. Here you will be able to find your local public library, get resources for Learning & Research, see the calendar of events, as well as plan for the Reading & Writing Celebrations. You can easily search our interlibrary loan catalog, find Oklahoma quick facts, look at the state literacy projects, consult on ways to improve your library, and learn about the state archives. Ask us how you can access EBSCO and Britannica for free through your school or library. Also check out Digital Prairie to search Oklahoma government documents, forms, archives, records, images, and audio/visual files.

If you need help finding a certain page or resources, try the search bar in the top right corner of the menu. Also below is the site map. If you still can’t find what you are looking for, please contact website management or ask ODL. We will be happy to point you in the right direction.
